Over Six Decades of Excellence

Pine Street Elementary School is a great school. Our relatively small size allows us to get to know our students better. PSE celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2017-18. Many of our students are the children and grandchildren of former students. This gives PSE a warm family feeling.

PSE Mission Statement

The mission of Pine Street Elementary, a family school rooted in history and branching out to embrace change and diversity, is to build a strong academic foundation, cultivate the desire to learn, and develop responsible and respectful members of society by providing a caring, challenging, and safe environment which reflects the spirit and vision of our community.

• To have 100% of our students meet or exceed state mandated testing standards.

• To guarantee hat PSE facilities meet and exceed city, state, and federal building codes to maintain equity among county facilities.
• Increase community volunteerism and funding by 100%.

Tactics

• We will create family and community connections that build healthy relationships among local leaders and volunteers with the school.
• We will create a safe, learner-centered school environment that personalizes instruction, embraces, diversity, and allows each student to reach his/her highest level of achievement in support of our mission and objectives.
• We will develop the character of each student with emphasis on being a responsible and respectful member of society in order to achieve our mission and objectives.

Driving Directions:

Follow I-20 W to GA-138 E/GA-20 E in Conyers. Take exit 82 from I-20 W.

Turn right onto GA-138 E/GA-20 E
 
Continue on GA-20 E. Drive to Sigman Rd NW. Turn Left onto Sigman Road.

Continue on Sigman Road for about 1.5 miles.  Turn left into the entrance to Conyers Middle School, then veer right to Pine Street Elementary School.
