The Vision of Pine Street Elementary School Library Media Center is to create a 21st Century, College and Career Readiness environment that promotes a lifelong love of learning for all students. The Mission statement for PSE Library Media Center is to provide students with the opportunity to become lifelong users of information and be creators of information. The library will support the curriculum by collaborating and seeking input from students, teachers and the public.
Procedures the Media Center will be available on a  flexible check out. Please be aware, Ms. Fulford does not have a clerk so all unscheduled classes need to collaborate with the Media Center before taking your class to the library. No book checkout will take place after 1:30 since Ms. Fulford has a duty to cover.
Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and first grade can check out one book for two weeks. First and second grades may check out two books for two weeks and third through fifth may check out three books for two weeks.

There is no fine for late books. If a book is lost or damaged, the replacement cost plus processing will be charged. The book collection reflects the 21st century with new books added every year and older books are weeded.

Maker Space! There are four computers in the Maker Space for students, teachers, and visitors. The clover leaf tables fit 8 – 10 students comfortably. With a variety of technology including a drone, Legos, and the Wonder Pack, along with jewelry kits and Ozobots, there is something for everyone in the Maker Space.  If you would like to schedule time in the Maker Space, please check with Ms. Fulford. Students who are working on Math24, Reading Bowling, and Social Studies Fair often use this space during lunch to prepare for their competition.
