Media Center

The Vision of the Pine Street Elementary School Library Media Center is to create a 21st century environment that promotes a life long love of learning for all students. The library media center strives to be a center of collaborative learning the encourages students to develop an appreciation for reading, critical thinking, informational skills, and a respect for others and self.


The Mission
statement for PSE Library Media Center is to provide students with the opportunity to become lifelong users of information and be creators of information. The library will support the curriculum by collaborating and seek the input of teachers and students.

Procedures:
The Media Center
will be opened on flexible check out from 7:05 to 8:00 every morning. Please be aware, Ms. Fulford does not have an clerk so all unscheduled classes need to class before taking students to the Media Center. No book check out after 1:30 since Ms. Fulford have a duty to cover.

Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and first grade can check out one book for two weeks. First and second grade may check out two books for two weeks and third through fifth may check out three books for two weeks.

Second grade starts at 10 points
​Third grade starts at 25 points
​Fourth grades start at 30 points
​Fifth graders start at 50 points
