Principal's Introduction

Greetings,

Welcome to Pine Street Elementary. I am Mrs. Stetina Haines-Williams. I am honored to serve as your proud principal for the 2023-2024 school year. I am beginning my 24th year in education. I began my career in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) and remained there for 10 years before relocating to Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS). While in SCCPS and RCPS, I have had the opportunity to serve in the following capacities: 3rd grade teacher, 5th grade teacher, EIP teacher, Magnet Coordinator, Teacher Support Specialist, Professional Learning Liaison, Academic/Instructional Coach, Testing Coordinator, and Assistant Principal, all of which have prepared me for the position I currently hold as principal.

Pine Street is a school where safety, academic success and parent involvement is our focus. We appreciate all the hard work from staff, students, and parents that makes our success possible. We realize that parent involvement is critical to our students’ success.

I am committed to continuing to create a safe and positive environment for staff, students, parents, and our community partners, as well as ensuring academic success. I will also work diligently to support the continuous improvement of collaboration and building strong and meaningful relationships.

Pine Street has a Roadrunner’s creed that the students recite daily during the morning news.

A roadrunner is in the right place, at the right time,

doing the right thing because we are respectful, responsible, and ready.

Let’s continue to work together to teach our students to be respectful, responsible, and ready.

Feel free to call or email to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas. I look forward to working with you.
